When confronted with the idea of a corrugated pallet, most people tend to think of light, fragile goods. The sceptics and naysayers have finally been proven wrong. CX Pallets has developed a corrugated pallet that punches above its weight class.

Load capacity:
The first question is always: How much weight can it hold? The simple answer is: It depends on the load structure. Loose loads (cement bags) or products with point-loads (machinery) have different load dynamics from let's say a stack of fruit cartons or boxes of circuit breakers. No two loads are the same and we consult extensively with clients to provide them with the most economical solution to their distribution needs. The flexible design provides easy customisation although most client find a suitable size in our standard range of stock items. Test-loaded with a static 2.7 tons, our pallets can handle even the most demanding loads.
Moisture:
The second questions is always: What happens when it stands in water? The simple answer is it needs to be protected from standing in static puddles of water for prolonged periods of time. Basically, humidity and odd splashes of rain won't harm the pallets but we always tell our clients to see the pallets as an extension of their products and its packaging. You won't let your products stand outside in the rain, so the same goes for the pallets. The most direct implication is that you wont be able to store the pallets outside but that has never deterred anyone from using out products. They work so well, people just make a plan and store them inside.
Go Green:
With ever-increasing pressure on companies to reduce their carbon footprint and incorporate more environment-friendly products in their supply chain, we are at the forefront of this exciting new industry. Most clients of South African exporters have trouble disposing of their wooden pallets at the receiving end. With CX Pallets, these clients can re-sell the pallets back to recyclers and eliminate the extra costs of disposing of their wooden pallets in an environmentally certified manner.
